.8mm DIY LED Lighting System Multi-Port Adaptors & Power Sources
The .8mm LED Lighting System requires multi-port adaptors between the power source and the lighting component since they both have male plugs. The adaptors are available in 2, 4, 6, 8 and 12-ports.
Also available are USB, AAA & Coin Cell Battery Box power sources. Wires on power sources are approximately 11-12" long. Coin cell batteries are CR2032 and the battery box comes with and requires two of them. The AAA Battery box requires 3 batteries and they are not included. Battery boxes have on/off switches built-in.
With the 12-port adaptor, one port will need to be used by the power source so you can use the other 11 ports for individual lights. The same applies to the 4, 6 and 8-port adaptors. With the 2-port adaptor, one port will be used by the power source and the other port for 1 lighting component.
The 2-port adaptor comes in a pack of 2. All other size adaptors are sold separately. Picture with penny coin is used for size reference and not included with purchase. The 4 to 12 port adaptors have dust covers on each port.
