Panzerkampfwagen III was a German medium tank from World War II. It was the most upgraded and modified model serving in the army of the Third Reich. Many versions of it were created between 1937 and 1943. The successful chassis served as the basis for the production of numerous other military vehicles. It was an extremely well-designed tank, used until the very end of the war. The crew consisted of 5 people and the tank participated in military operations on all European fronts, as well as in North Africa.
